WEEK 1 ASSIGNMENT: Drawing in 2D

Assignment: Drawing 2D shapes in Rhino 

Exercise: Using this reference image, draw these shapes in Rhino top view. 

• Remember to keep the 'planar' mode and 'osnap' features on. 
• Use the 'text' command to take note the various ways of approaching one shape. 
• Create iterations (copies) of each piece of work, if you get stuck and start again. If you find multiple ways of doing the same thing, take note. 

Submission: 

• Capture a screenshot of your work including anotations (text notes) 
• Save working Rhino file, and bring to class 

Journal: As will be regular protocol, take screenshots of your work throughout the process, and let us know in your blog posts what you learned / what you found challenging, or if you have any remaining questions. 

• Upload final screenshot and processes onto your blog, and email your blog link to liliyas.tayefi@auarts.ca
